Architecture

Sacred spaces are linked with boundless sensual responses and experiences. The challenge lies around expressing the non-homogeneous quality of the religion in a space and distinguishing it from secular spaces. Le Corbusier believes a space is greatly related to the users personal experience, where the user associate the space with his own set of values. The following projects closely look at Ronchamp as an example of a sacred space that traverses the architectural wilderness by expressing ancient holiness in a modern way.
