Summer 2014

The Ying Yang Complex is a symphony of vernacular design. The goal is to touch the history of the landscape, and the result is the synthesis of traditional agricultural lifestyle of China and the modern interpretation. The master plan focuses on sustainability, featuring a cycle of aquapontics and livestock breeding, the site produces its own vegetables and fruits, and sells them through restaurants and outdoor vendors. This fuels local economy and strengthens self sustainability. The Museum and Park focuses on the agricultural history of the locality, featuring aquapontics and agricultural museum; as well as, local vegetable markets and fisheries.
